HEALTH & SAFETY
MBS seats are engineered and factory molded with precise measurements, bolted in place with secure and safe mechanisms. They are vigorously tested, ensuring airbags are safely deploy-able as per the original manufacturer’s specifications.
Counterfeits lack the technical precision and are made through makeshift arrangements, hence do not guarantee any safety in the event of an accident.
MATERIAL & FABRICS
MBS uses only German Nappa leather, considered to be the finest available in the world, for all their seats and trims. The textures and high grade finishing of the fabric is of exquisite quality.
Counterfeits do not use genuine Nappa leather and are of substandard quality resulting in very uncomfortable experiences, with signs of early wear and tear.
All fabrics at MBS are cut to exact measurements using machines, unlike counterfeits that are improperly cut by hand.
FOAM
MBS produces high grade and quality foam for their seats, ensuring that equal ergonomic comfort is maintained for long and short journeys. Whereas, counterfeits use a low grade and inferior quality foam that cause severe discomfort.
The foam in counterfeits are improvised on the spot and not molded with precise measurements in machines, resulting in a lack of uniformity across the seats. MBS ensures, the overall shape and form remains consistent across their product range.
OPTIMAL SEAT POSITION
Rear MBS seats are optimally positioned to offer efficient leg support and comfort with more legroom. The entire rear unit system is affixed further back on an optimized frame, that is individually specific to the Land Cruiser 200, LX570 and G-Class.
Counterfeit rear seats are fixed on existing frames and not on optimized ones that are positioned further back, as a result they cannot offer more legroom and do not give an option for enhanced leg support.
Furthermore, counterfeits are not installed correctly and are shoddily welded onto these frames, affecting the stability and safety of the vehicle.
ELECTRONICS & COMPONENTS
MBS ensures high quality German electronic components are used, that are often incomparable to ones manufactured in other parts of the world. Counterfeits use poor quality components that consistently fail regularly.
Counterfeits often position components, such as massage and electronic seat movement options in ergonomically incorrect locations.
CENTRAL CONSOLE
The MBS central console comprises features that are bespoke and incomparable to counterfeit ones. Features such as electronic operation of the armrest, soft touch operation of the compartment hatch and LED lighting are unique, that are not available in counterfeits.
Furthermore, minor details on the central console such as misalignment of the hatch, the climate control unit, buttons, armrests and logo all indicate the unit is not genuine.
